Located in a forest surrounded by trees and abundant wildlife, this house blends into the surroundings. The ocean breeze flows up from Golfo Dulce to naturally aspirate the house, keeping it cool and fresh year round. The water system collects amazing rainwater to drink, bathe and water a greenhouse.

A wide variety of over 100 tropical fruit trees that can be harvested in their respective seasons, provide a constant supply of amazing fresh fruit. The greenhouse currently grows three types of kale, arugula, culinary hibiscus, waterleaf, portulaca, amaranth, katuk, tomatoes provides enough greens for salads every night, year round.

Healthy living. A peaceful sanctuary in an increasingly chaotic world. These are the things that we have here at Casa Alta Vista.

And........an amazing ocean view.

I was a builder of homes in the U.S. for 38 years before moving to Costa Rica 12 years ago. I utilized the sum of my experience from the U.S. and Costa Rica in the design and construction of Casa Alta Vista.

Cheers, William Jackson -- designer, builder.
